The main thing you need to know about the Mumballup-Noggerup Community is that you are welcome here, whether staying with family, friends or friends-to-be, stopping for a meal or refreshment, looking out for some craft and produce, or just soaking up the scenery.

The community is about 2.5 hours drive south of Perth, Western Australia, within the upper catchment of the Preston River, which is within a triangle defined by the towns of Collie, Donnybrook and Boyup Brook. The valley is serviced by bitumen roads linking to all three towns, and regional centres further afield. If coming from Perth you can come via Bunbury, turning off the "Harvest Highway" as soon as you clear Donnybrook, and go home via Collie and the Coalfields Highway (or the other way around). There are also good connections to the south and south-east via Bridgetown and Kojonup respectively; we are at the cross-roads to just about everywhere!

Rural pursuits here include sheep and cattle grazing, stone fruit production and some olives, grapes, pecan nuts and the odd bit of lavender. The surrounding jarrah forest supports a sustainably managed timber industry, a wealth of wildlife, and also includes large tracts of National Park. These provide plenty of scope for recreation; there are museums, craft centres and wineries within a short drive in virtually any direction.

We hope to see you soon.
